ALL-ROAD ICON

Modern classic style meets adventure bike capability to deliver perfectly balanced on and off-road performance.

A fan favorite and praised in reviews, the Scrambler 1200 is the real deal.

The latest editions are even more accessible and ready for the everyday, weekend escapes, and pure adventure.

The Scrambler 1200 XE is the Ultimate Scrambler, evolved.  A modern classic all-road icon with the capability to conquer the most rugged terrain.

The all new Scrambler 1200 X inspires confidence on and off road - having a low seat height and effortless ergonomics. Coupled with the motorcycle's incredible performance, capability, and style, the Scrambler 1200 X is your ticket to freedom and fun.

The Bonneville 1200cc ‘High Torque' engine is perfectly suited to the dual personality of the Scrambler 1200 and is enhanced with a dedicated Scrambler engine tune. The low-inertia, eight-valve parallel twin delivers an addictive surge of torque with instant response and a tractable power delivery accompanied by an unmistakable, characterful, and intoxicating soundtrack. The ride-by-wire throttle ensures intuitive control with super-smooth fueling and rewarding response on virtually any surface and in any riding scenario. Five riding modes (plus Off-road Pro on the XE) optimize this engine response, as well as Traction Control and ABS settings to suit varying riding conditions, including a rider configurable option, so you can configure the Scrambler 1200 to your individual preference at the touch of a button.

From a spirited gravel road blast to a steady Sunday cruise, and from flat-out fire road thrills to finding traction in the mud, the Scrambler lives up to its iconic name.

Famously reliable, and with 10,000 miles between service intervals, there’s no better choice for your adventure.

Developed to deliver performance that lives up to its looks, the dedicated chassis design has all the right ingredients to offer an exceptional ride both on and off-road.

From the optimized swingarm length, to the steering head angle and commanding riding position, the geometry and ergonomics were designed, developed, and tested to ensure complete rider confidence and control off-road and a comfortable and agile ride on it.

The Scrambler underlines its dual-purpose credentials with premium Marzocchi™ suspension, developed exclusively for the Scrambler. The 45mm USD forks and piggyback twin rear suspension units combine the sensitivity needed to iron out ripples in the road with the support required to cope with off-road riding. Progressive damping and hydraulic bump stop technology ensures superb rider feel and comfort with the capability to soak up big off-road compressions. And for extreme off-road adventure, the XE features long-travel ‘twin-spring’ rear suspension units and full adjustability front and rear, now with even finer control, allowing riders to dial in the perfect setup.

Tough side-laced stainless-steel spoked wheels, dual purpose tubeless tires, and powerful brakes complete the class-leading design chassis specification, with the 1200 XE benefiting from the very latest class-leading Brembo™ Stylema® calipers and 320mm discs, while the 1200 X is fitted with high quality Nissin calipers and 310mm discs.

Sensitively incorporated technology complements the clean custom style and timeless lines of the Scrambler 1200, bringing modern performance, convenience, and safety to every ride. The powerful lighting package ensures visibility and adds a contemporary lighting signature with an always on headlight and a compact tail-light design.  An Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) constantly monitors acceleration and deceleration together with lean angle and cornering forces to provide state-of-the-art optimized cornering ABS and Traction Control for improved rider confidence and safety in all riding conditions.

Five riding modes allow the rider to select the perfect throttle response, ABS and Traction Control sensitivity for Rain, Road, Sport, and Off-Road riding, and on the XE, Off-Road Pro mode allows both ABS and Traction Control to be disabled completely for uninterrupted rider control in extreme off-road situations.

These modes are accessed via intuitive controls and displayed clearly on the high-resolution instruments.  The XE also benefits from illuminated switchgear for improved nighttime visibility, as well as full color TFT instruments, and both XE and X are also compatible with turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth functionality via an accessory-fit connectivity module.

With its unmistakable category-creating silhouette and purposeful stance, the Scrambler 1200 brings rugged all-road attitude to Triumph’s iconic Modern Classics family, combining authentic design DNA with beautifully crafted modern custom style to create the definitive Scrambler look.

From the sculpted fuel tank to the signature twin high level silencers, custom-inspired details, premium materials and high-quality finishes combine beauty with rugged practicality, including a polished stainless-steel strap for the fuel tank, ribbed bench, seat and brushed aluminum construction for the swingarm, number board, sump guard, and Monza-style fuel filler cap, as well as both front and rear mudguards and hand guard braces for the XE. Both bikes also feature high-quality brushed aluminum badges and logo detailing, and of course, the iconic Triumph triangular engine badge.
